Every article on HD Diesel Supply follows the same standards.

Written by a mechanic, not a content farm. Mike Turner, a Red Seal certified heavy duty mechanic with 14 years of experience, writes every guide. If he has not done the job or seen it done in his shop, it does not get published.

Diagnostics before parts. Our troubleshooting guides always start with the cheapest and most common causes first. We will never tell you to replace an expensive part when a forty dollar filter might be the problem.

Real opinions. When one engine is better than another for a job, we say so. When a product is not worth the money, we say that too. We do not take money from manufacturers for coverage.

Canada and USA first. Our readers deal with minus 30 starts, winter fuel gelling, and cross border parts shopping. Every guide is written for that reality.

No emissions defeat content. We explain how emissions systems work and how to maintain them. We do not publish instructions for removing or defeating emissions equipment, which is illegal for road vehicles in both countries.

Updated, not abandoned. Every article carries a last updated date. When procedures change or new failure patterns emerge, the article gets updated.
