Our custom tuning includes the EFI Live AutoCal V3 hand tool with our custom DPF/EGR delete tuning for 2016-2021 Colorado/Canyon 2.8L Duramax.
Product details:
-Single power level that provides a gain of 40HP 70lbs-ft increase.
-3-5 MPG increase in fuel mileage.
-Less turbo lag.
-Our custom tuning does NOT require the use of DEF fluid or sensors in the exhaust! This kit requires no restrictions in the exhaust to operate correctly.
-We electronically closed the EGR valve and can be left in place.
-Optional EGR tuning: Custom tuning required if the EGR is removed, $75.00 fee applies.

-Optional tire size correction for lager tires installed on your Colorado! Designed to correct the speedo calibration and for customers who purchase our transmission tuning, we adjust and correct shifting patterns effected by the lager tires installed. We can also correct for gear ratio changes!

Bought the delete tune and exhaust a couple of months ago and finally got the time to install it over the weekend. The tuning was easier than I expected and took about 15 minutes. The hardest part of the process removing exhaust.
I am very pleased with the performance. I will have to get used to driving it because good tires are expensive and if you put you foot in the throttle you will spin the rear tires.
I am looking forward to seeing what my fuel mileage will be.

2019 zr2 delete, trans tune, engine tune, EFI Live tool, and 3 inch turbo back exhaust, all purchased from HD Diesel. This is how the truck should have come from the factory. The dead pedal is gone at normal take off, at full throttle it will hesitate but much less than stock, and the truck pulls a lot harder now. It shifts at much lower RPM and feels so much more powerful. Shifts are firm and fast. I have a 4800lbs travel trailer to test speeds 20-70mph cause when I tried 0-60mph there is too much tire spin, even with the trailer attached. So I measured 20-70mph. Before tune and delete it took 31 seconds to get from 20-70mph. After the tune (same day, same slight uphill road, same direction) it took 27 seconds. 4 seconds is quite a bit faster! But this is still not a race truck nor do I want it to be. I also drive a 500 mile round trip from Cedar city Utah to Salt Lake and back twice a month. At 75mph, I usually get a 500 mile average of 25-27 mpg... After tuning I have taken 6 trips all 500 mile average of 29-30 mpg! For a zr2 that's pretty awesome. Before the tune my low fuel light would be on when I got home, now I have almost 1/4 tank after the trip. I wanted more pulling power, no more dead pedal, no more regens or DEF usage, and better mpg. This tune has accomplished all those things, and I am very happy with how this truck drives now. Very impressive guys.

I ordered the full exhaust, tune, and transmission tune. I was worried about flashing the ecu, as I’ve never done this before. I saved my original files and put the truck on the charger to ensure battery wouldn’t mess anything up. Everything flashed perfectly, engine and transmission, I pulled fuses after flash and was happy to see no engine lights. Removing the exhaust was easy for the most part, except for the catalytic converter off the turbo (that requires some finesse and mild cursing) lol. For performance measurements, I use a program called Dash command, i’ve been using for years, before the tune are used to get 200 hp and 370 foot pounds of torque. Currently I’m getting 265 hp and 470 foot pounds of torque. Fuel economy is up at least 20%, and I just finish towing my camper, I use to to have a hard time getting the truck to get into sixth gear it always wanted to ride in 4th or 5th while towing and my transmission temperatures were always high. 220-230 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s currently 92° here in South Florida, transmission temperature stayed at 210 to 213. Fuel economy went up from 13 to 17 while towing my camper with a motorcycle on a front mounted hitch. I was skeptical about purchase this tune, i’m so glad I did, it feels like I have a brand new truck. I’m amazed you can get better performance and Better for fuel economy at the same time. If you’re hesitating like I did don’t, HD diesel supply really put time and thought into their tunes & exhaust, as my truck runs better than it did new!!! My truck is a 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 with a 2.8 Duramax. Thank you HD diesel supply for making such amazing product!!!
