Core Return Options Policy

Cores are the old unit you are replacing with either a remanufactured or new unit. Example, injectors, turbos, cp3 pumps or injection pumps in general. We require the core exchanged. If core is not provided by the customer a core charge value will need to be collected. Please see our Core return options policy.

HD Diesel Supply has 3 convenient options. We have made core returns simple.

  1. Return cores in advance before we ship out your new or rebuilt item. Simply mark the box ( return cores in advance ). After the checkout process, We will issue a core return number and instructions for inspection and proper shipment of your cores being sent back to us. Please see our core checklist here. After we receive and inspect your cores we will ship out your new replacement product to you. Please note that any cores sent to us will be inspected for condition outlined in our core return checklist. We strongly suggest to review or core policy checklist to avoid any core value deprecation that might accrue outlined in our policy. Please contact us if you have any questions.
  2. Prepayment of core charge until cores are returned. At checkout, mark the box ( Prepayment for cores ). At checkout you will be charged the core value amount indicated for each item. This is a convenient option for customers using payments other than a credit card. Example Paypal, E Transfer or cash (local pick up). Or core policy outlines the terms and time restrictions in the core returns to HD Diesel Supply. If cores are returned within 21 days of original invoice date, 100% of the core charge will be refunded to you. Please note that any cores sent to us will be inspected for condition outlined in our core return checklist. Cores returned after 21 days of original invoice, a refund equaling 35% of the original core value will be refunded to the credit card. After 45 days no core value refund will be given.

  3. Credit card hold will be placed on the credit card on file of total core value outlined at checkout. At checkout, mark the box ( Credit card hold ). No core charge will be processed to you credit card if cores are returned before 21 days. The temporary hold is to secure the return of the cores, the hold will be removed when we receive and inspect the cores condition outlined in our core return checklist see here, within 21 days of the original invoice date. We strongly suggest to review or core policy checklist to avoid any core value deprecation that might accrue outlined in our policy. Cores returned After 21 days of the original invoice date, a refund equaling 35% of the original core value will be refunded to the credit card. After 45 days no core value refund will be given.
